The Margolin Brain Institute is a state-of-the-art facility that provides neurology consultation services and conducts clinical research in neurology and psychiatry. The primary focus of the practice is on Alzheimer's disease—along with other causes of dementia—and Parkinson's disease—along with other movement disorders. The Margolin Brain Institute is the main neuroscience clinical trials facility in Central California, providing access to investigational treatments for the three million residents of Central California. The Institute offers traditional neurology consultations for diagnosis and treatment, screening for participation in clinical trials, and medical-legal consultations.
David Margolin, is co-founder of the Institute and serves as its Principal Investigator. He is a board-certified neurologist and clinical researcher, with 30 years of experience in treating patients with neurological illnesses. Dr. Margolin has conducted over 150 clinical trials in neurology and psychiatry.
J.J. Margolin is co-founder of the Institute. She is a family nurse practitioner and a certified clinical research coordinator. She has collaborated with Dr. Margolin on over 150 clinical trials and supervises the staff of clinical coordinators. She has over 19 years of experience in coordinating and managing clinical trials. She also supervises several other qualified staff clinical coordinators.
